Lección 1:  Inglés por los Oídos: I speak English

A sample from a short audio course I made inspired by Portuguese Like Crazy. Main goal is to give students a basis of the English vocabulary and differences of the grammar between English and Spanish through didactic teaching. Can be finished in a weekend or a week.

Lección 2:  A1 Lesson: I am Manuel

Samples from my A1 course for beginners which uses TPRS techniques, translation and a special transcription to ease the process of learning the English pronunciation.

Lección 3:  A2 Lesson: Intro to Edgar

Sample of a lesson from my A2 course for beginners. Building on the first course, the student is given more interesting vocabulary in both texts and dialogues. Elements of TPRS remain while aspects of grammar are shown at the end of each lesson.

Lección 4:  Pre-Intermediate Story: Fashion Police

Sample of one of my stories for Pre-Intermediates. Once a student reaches this level, there really isn't a need to focus on grammar. The main focus is on creating interesting and compelling stories that introduces students to more and more vocabulary. Content is made comprehensible with the use of quick explanations as well as translation. Accent reduction techniques are used in the choral practice. Simple grammar and translation exercises end each story. A list of questions in audio format helps students prepare for real-life conversations.

Lección 5:  Intermediate Story: Properties of Love

Sample of one of my stories for Intermediates. Very similar to the pre-intermediate stories, except the stories are longer and contain more advanced vocabulary. Once a student reaches this level, there really isn't a need to focus on grammar.
